Duck-Billed Platypus!

We used work pictures to describe this animal! Did you notice that this animal is like an otter (but not exactly), like a snake (but not a snake), like a beaver (look similar), like a duck (but not a bird).
We describe the unknown, with that which is already known! We use a snake, otter, beaver and duck to help us understand what the REAL THING looks like. But unless you had seen an actual picture of a duck-billed platypus, you would not likely get it exactly right!
God used this same principle in describing heaven and hell. He uses things we understand and see to describe things we don’t understand and cannot see!
