The Devil Baby was born to a widow from Ireland who moved to New Orleans and married a Creol plantation owner. She had six healthy daughters and was unpleasantly pregnant with a 7th child when she went to the Voodoo Queen asking for a son, but the Voodoo Queen disliked the plantation owner husband and cursed her unborn child to be the son of the devil. The Devil Baby was born on Mardi Gras day and ate all the neighbors and children. His parents held him captive in the attic garret room until he escaped one day and began his reign of terror on the city of New Orleans.
